Speech Remedy was founded in 2006 to provide cutting-edge multisensory materials to the SLP community. Speech Remedy's first product, SR-Cognition, is a complete therapeutic tool-set targeting adult cognitive rehabilitation.

About the Founders

Joanna (Light) Boyer, M.S., M.A. CCC-SLP
Joanna holds a B.A. in psychology and linguistics from McGill University, an M.S. in cognitive psychology from UC, Santa Cruz and an M.A. in speech-language pathology from San Jose State University. Joanna is a practicing speech-language pathologist who currently works with pediatric and adult clients in acute, sub-acute, long-term care and home- and office-based settings throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Joanna has co-authored several articles pertaining to speech-language and hearing science in various peer-reviewed journals.

Terri Tarnoff Snyder, M.A. CCC-SLP
Terri holds a B.A. in communication disorders from Temple University and an M.A. in speech-language pathology and audiology from San Diego State University. Terri has over 20 years experience with evaluating and treating neurologically impaired adults in acute care, skilled nursing, home health and hospice care settings. Terri is the director of Breakthrough, Inc., providing physical, occupational and speech therapy services for adults throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. She is also a life and communications coach.
